My barely 5yo son asks me if he can "play skibidi toilet"
Fr I'm kinda surprised at how people are blaming the tablet, they've obviously never seen an Amazon kids tablet lol. There's 0 chance he got that from his tablet, that he spends barely an hour on a week. Even if he spent all day on it, he wouldn't have gotten it from the tablet. He doesn't have acce

Tablet just for travel
We have Amazon kids tablets for our 4 and 2 year old but they only use the for travel. They are fine, they are kinda slow to operate. I would look for refurbished iPads. They are much easier to operate. But, the Amazon tablets are fine, they work fine and do what they need to do, I just wish they we

Low Storage solution for Fire 7 Kids edition (16GB)
We were getting the infamous "Low Storage" notice on our daughters Kindle Fire. In checking the internal storage on my daughter's account, my wife found a file labeled miscellaneous that was 6.4GB large. My wife spent a few hours last night trying to figure out what it was and how to fix it to no

Fire 7 Kids tablet - subscription needed? Remove apps?
My inlaws gifted my toddler a Fire 7 Kids tablet over a year ago and it's been sitting in the box unused in my basement since (don't buy someone else's toddler a tablet without parents permission...anyway). We have a very long car trip coming up so, I figured I would finally pull it out. I was hopin

[Fire 7 Kids Edition] My kids have found an interesting way around the "Browser Disabled" option...
I love my children, but they're too smart for their own good.
Under each of their child profiles, I have Web Settings -> Enable Web Browser disabled.
I also have Child Settings -> Daily Goals & Time Limits, set up so that they should only have 1 hour of screen time per day.
I caught my oldest

Christmas tablet
We've always used the Kindle Fire Kids tablet because I really like the parental controls. You can lock it down really well so that it only has the apps and videos you approve. We have an app for it called "SafeVision" that's 2 or 3 bucks per month, but it limits YouTube to only channels and videos

Kindle Fire 7 Kids - Clearing Misc Storage
10GB internal storage with 7.34GB (at time of posting) taken up by "Miscellaneous/Others". I really don't want to have to download any kind of cleaner app onto either computer or it itself but I can't find any other way to clear this out.
Also, why in the names of the gods can you find nothing when

I’m a gaming dad
My husband (43) and I (37) are gamers with kids (7 & 5) and they’ve been playing video games since they were old enough to try, so maybe since they were 3-4. We started with Mario Kart, Yoshi, and Luigi’s Mansion on Switch but we’re Xbox gamers so whenever I’m on Fortnite and the kids ask for a turn

For any dads considering Amazon Prime Kids+ Subscription
I swear Apple makes their old devices fail. It's called planned obsolescence. Any other recs? Not sure how old your kids are but mine loved the Amazon Kids tablets way back when. They could read almost any book for free with the Kids+ subscription. Saved a ton of money on books. This was like 5 year

Does your child have a tablet / personal device ?
My daughter has a kindle fire kids tablet which we bought for long car journeys and holidays (airports airplane, bored in restaurants etc). Fortunately shes like me and 'gaming' really isnt her thing. Shes socially driven and needs movement. So, we do let her play games on it if she wants but she ba
