NS2 Edition is finally out
4K looks fantastic, but the image is juddering really bad for me when walking left and right (everything around me looks like it's shaking horizontally). It's really distracting. I have a ROG 4K OLED (PG27UCDM). Issue does not occur with any other games. I tried the 3.0 update before the Switch 2 Ed

RTX 5080, a 1440p or 4k Monitor?
Buy the 4k monitor. I’ve got a 5080 also and paired it with a PG27UCDM from Asus. The thing looks beautiful and the 5080 is plenty of power. Also, DLSS looks MUCH better when running at higher resolutions. I think it produces and beautiful image and it’s much better than native with TAA.

Still confused about what type of monitor to get.
Definitely get nothing less than 4K monitors. I now use a Dell 27" U2723QE and a LG 27UP850K-W as a secondary monitor and it works really well with my M2 Max Mac Studio. If you’re looks for a gaming monitor and have the budget to spend, this is the next monitor on my to buy list: the Asus PG27UCDM 2

LG Display unveils 5k 27" 120hz tandem OLED panel with RGB Stripe Sub-Pixel Layout
Is what people who never used 220ppi at 27 inches always say. I have an Apple Studio Display mounted next to a Asus PG27UCDM 27 inch 4k qd oled. The difference is tremendous.

Still deciding if the LG 27GM950B-B is a keeper
In practice, with SDR + Local Dimming off, even though "they should look the same", the LG GM9 looks WAAAY better than the ASUS ROG Strix XG27JCG. Source: I had them both at the same time, used them back-to-back days. The LG is just a much better looking display, for whatever reason (better finish,

Is the RTX 5080 a good card for 4K gaming?
PG27UCDM here 💪 Used 24" monitors for my entire life, couldn't get used to anything bigger so 27" 4k was perfect for me. I've never even seen a 1440p monitor before, just jumped straight from 1080-4k

Should I upgrade my GPU now?
If you can afford it, do it. I went from a 2080Ti to a 4090 a couple years ago and recently moved from 1440p 240Hz to the PG27UCDM. My games are probably similar to yours and I stuck with 1440p for years because I was concerned about frame rate in 4K but I have no issues even without DLSS, frame gen
