2k or 4k? Screen recommendation needed for video editing on Mac Mini M4

The issue with small text happens as resolution increases. For example, 1920x1080 at a 27" display, would provide some pretty large icons and large text. If you stayed at 27" and went to 2560x1440 running at native resolution you would get much smaller icons, smaller text and you would have lots of

Mac users - is the Studio display worth the premium over other monitors?

Like mentioned, it’s an added benefit. Apart from the panel itself (which is great), these small things do add up and leads to less clutter in general. Basically, come for the monitor and stay for the rest, if the rest appeals to ya. In a two monitor setup, I use a Studio Display in conjunction with

Need Monitor for IPadPro M5. Ditching my PC for IPad

Highly recommend the BenQ MA270U 27” 4K Monitor as it works with iPadOS volume controls. I have the Dell - S2725QC 27" IPS LED 4K UHD 120Hz FreeSync Monitor and adore it, especially for the sale price I got it at ($280) but my sole gripe is the Volume has to be controlled with the knob on the monito

Studio Display vs anything else

Check out the Benq ma270u. It’s very close to Studio Display at a much affordable price point.

Got MacMini M4 today. Need suggestions on the best monitor (Not apple). I do design and coding work mostly.

BenQ-MA270U is one of the best reviewed. I would have bought this, but I got the LG 32U631A-B because I wanted a 32" and it's pretty good too.

BenQ Monitors

Yes, the standard studio display has a glossy finish, the nano textured version has a matte finish, although I would say the matte finish on the apple studio is a semi-gloss compared to BenQ MA270U If you work in controlled lighting and prioritize maximum color pop and crispness go with the gloss mo

2026 APPLE DISPLAY VS EIZO

I use two Studio Displays with VESA mount and clients are very happy. I have a 30' Corning thunderbolt cable which was expensive AF and very thin so I have it in a cable wrap with an extension cord for the monitor and I keep the other display on my cart. The bummer is that there is no HDMI support f

After 14 years, replaced 2012 MacBook Pro with 2026 Neo

Agree on your analysis, the Neo should be sufficient for most users, although perception of "insufficient" RAM and "limited" chip is a thing indeed. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro 15' with Intel Core i7 and 16Gb that is playing dead more often than not - even when plugged in, hence bought the Neo as a ba
