Mac users - is the Studio display worth the premium over other monitors?
Like mentioned, it’s an added benefit. Apart from the panel itself (which is great), these small things do add up and leads to less clutter in general. Basically, come for the monitor and stay for the rest, if the rest appeals to ya. In a two monitor setup, I use a Studio Display in conjunction with

2k or 4k? Screen recommendation needed for video editing on Mac Mini M4
The issue with small text happens as resolution increases. For example, 1920x1080 at a 27" display, would provide some pretty large icons and large text. If you stayed at 27" and went to 2560x1440 running at native resolution you would get much smaller icons, smaller text and you would have lots of

BenQ Monitors
Yes, the standard studio display has a glossy finish, the nano textured version has a matte finish, although I would say the matte finish on the apple studio is a semi-gloss compared to BenQ MA270U If you work in controlled lighting and prioritize maximum color pop and crispness go with the gloss mo

Best Monitor - AUS region
I'm grabbing a 27"4k My selection so far: BenQ PD2706UBenQ MA270ULG 27UP850-WDell 27 Plus S2725QC I'm a designer as well so, like you, I need to care for colour accuracy and sharp details. None of 4ks will give it completely but adding the Better Display app reportedly solves the crispiness issue. A

On the hunt for a new external display...
Update (12/16/25): I ended up buying the BenQ MA270U 27” since it fit in my budget and had good reviews. I noticed the display is actually brighter than my macbook screen (can’t really tell in the photo) and the color matching is good enough for me.

Good monitor worth buying for GRAPHIC DESIGN? What do you currently use?
BenQ MA270u 27” - been really happy with it and love that the base lets me turn the monitor from landscape to portrait, color is great.

BenQ MA275U Looks Warmer Than My MacBook Display — Normal or Misconfigured?
What I actually found is that you can try switching to other device in color mode in Display Pilot 2. For example, for my M4 Pro, M3 device 'look' seems pretty close. Another important note you should be aware of, BenQ won't match MacBook Pro screen perfectly. There will be a difference, no matter w

extended monitor reco for macbook air m4 (non creative)
generally the way to go is an apple monitor, but they're not cheap and you probably don't need many of their features. to get close to mba/imac display look for hiDPI glossy monitors with P3 wide color gamut, for example benq MA270U or kuycon G27P

Apple Studio Display - finally no more eye fatigue/headache!
I have a macbook pro and I love its screen. I use it for hours without fatigue. But I need a bigger monitor for my music projects. Yesterday I received my new BenQ MA270U monitor and I can't use it for more than 10 minutes - even though I adjusted all the settings. It looks like the macbook screen i

Best 4K monitor for Mac Studio (besides Apple Studio Display) — Dell U2725QE vs BenQ MA270U
Hi! Nice. I ordered the BenQ MA270U because the Dell took way to long to arrive and canceled the order. The BenQ was also a lot cheaper. It’s been great, I recommend it the colors are perfect and really good resolution.
