I want to get my wife an reader but she uses so many different apps/sites to read. What's my best option?

boox go 7, but don’t get the color one. go for the black and white always (unless she reads manga, then ask her which she would prefer after reading reviews because the color is nice, but it’s not worth losing some quality unless that’s the majority of what she reads)

Glare on Boox Go7 BnW

Apparently the black version has less glare. I have the black one at home, its a great device, i don’t feel like it has too much glare. Edited to add: the white and black Boox Go 7 have different screen top layers the white is plastic and black is glass I think. https://youtu.be/Hgr9tDI4vGQ?is=fyL7f

1+ month user - Review of Note Air 5C

I am surprised about your keyboard experience. I am using the boox go 7 c and write with a keyboard very often and find the damn near instantenous. I legit cannot notice the delay. Btw bigme refresh is faster than bsr. At least in the phone ...(At the cost of some rubbish software) But I honestly th

Should I choose a Kobo Libra color or Boox Go7?

I have to Go 7, and I'm happy with it. Got it from Amazon for ease of return and purchased an extended warranty. The screen is nice, same or better than my old Kindle. It has warm light, buttons, slide to adjust lighting, etc. I've settled on having the Kindle, Pocketbook, Readera Premium, Libby, an

still deciding on a new ereader....

Pocketbooks run linux which means you can't download any apps or access kindle. You need one that runs android. Pocketbook might have one tablet that runs android, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'd reccomend First Boox, second Bigme, third Meebook. I have owned android ereaders from all 3 companies,

Does anyone regret getting a color ereader

I got the Boox Go 7 Colour Gen II and my biggest regret is that I didn’t get the BW instead. Lovely device but the screen is just too dark (and the colour too muddy/washed out to make seeing cover thumbnails in colour worth it). But I do have to say that I’m one of those people who prefers to read w

Is switching to a colour display really a downgrade? Need some purchasing advice

I have a Boox Go 7 Color G2 can say that it's a bit exaggerated, but there is enough of a downgrade in contrast where you will likely find yourself using the frontlight in situations where you probably didn't before - especially if you read in dark environments. Not ideal but perhaps find a place wi

Help picking

First off, don't give up so easily. You paid for something and you didn't get it. Where's the proof that it was delivered to you?? Did someone sign for it? Did the delivery driver take a pic of where they left the damn thing? Unless the delivery happened a long time ago you should get your money bac

I miss physical buttons

Boox Go 7 is just amazing. Great industrial design, feels light, screen size just right.

Boox Go 7 vs Kobo Libra Colour — keep or return? (still stuck 😭)

I have both and love my Boox Go 7 and reach for it more often than I do for KLC. The screen is so much more crisp and high contrast than KLC as well. Another problem I have with KLC is it does not allow adding multiple library cards on overdrive without complicated workarounds, which significantly b
