Does this ereader exist?

Boox Go 7 BW meets all of these. I love the physical buttons and you don’t have to side load anything as it supports Google play store natively! Oh annotation typing would be the only criteria it doesn’t meet but typing on ebook is never a great experience because of input delays (though go7 is pret

Boox Go 7 Launcher worth it?

Time to write this out again. Get into the actual full android settings. Some boox devices have that option natively while others don't. Download Olauncher (home replacement I use) launch it and open the settings app. Go down to about device, tap the build number like ten times and enable developer

1+ month user - Review of Note Air 5C

I am surprised about your keyboard experience. I am using the boox go 7 c and write with a keyboard very often and find the damn near instantenous. I legit cannot notice the delay. Btw bigme refresh is faster than bsr. At least in the phone ...(At the cost of some rubbish software) But I honestly th

Umm..

never heard of it in my life; unlikely it supports fast refresh modes. a Boox Go 7 or Bigme B7 Pro on the other hand could do this easily. ETA: quad core and 1 GB RAM from 5 years ago, wtf are you doing lol https://goodereader.com/blog/electronic-readers/inkbook-calypso-plus-e-reader-is-now-availabl

Been thinking about buying a kindle for reading Japanese manga, would it work from overseas?

unless they changed something you can just load converted epubs via calibre (azw3 or mobi iirc). manga is going to suck on all einks. if you can i would look into something other than kindle. android devices like boox go 7 have access to more tools (yomitan with ttu reader and anki integration) and

Boox VS. Bigme. Which is better?

This was something I weighed recently, trying to decide between Boox Go 7 and Bigme B7 - the Bigme devices sound very good on paper, but Boox seems to be a more common/mainstream brand. I ended up with the Boox - mostly because from what I could gather, it’s just more established and more polished i

Help picking

First off, don't give up so easily. You paid for something and you didn't get it. Where's the proof that it was delivered to you?? Did someone sign for it? Did the delivery driver take a pic of where they left the damn thing? Unless the delivery happened a long time ago you should get your money bac

Which e-reader is best for AO3?

Are you OK with just downloading and transferring files to it, or do you want to read online as well? Do you care about having a large well-organised library? I have a Boox Go 7, which runs Android (still eink though) and allows downloading apps. Browsing AO3 on a browser works very well (and page t

XTEINK S4 Price and Preorder Details

it's not just battery life, I have an Onyx Boox Go 7 running android and it's so sluggish, sure you can use kindle and kobo apps but it's absolutely not enjoyable, both apps are slow as fuck, glitchy, not optimized. Android is not developed for devices with 500mb ram or even 2GB ram
