Is Breville a good or bad place to start for a beginner? [$1000]
Breville’s great, though most people here won’t recommend a machine with a built in grinder. That one comes with a Smart Grinder Pro, which is great for most bean types specially if you’re into Italian espresso/based drinks. You could go for a Bambino Plus and spend the rest ($600ish) on a much bett

What espresso machine did you start on, and would you recommend it to a beginner today?
I’m super new and bought a Breville Bambino Plus. I love it lol. However, I have to upgrade my grinder haha.

Help me buy son a thank you espresso machine [$1000]
Breville bambino plus + lagom casa. Seeing as that he has kids, a quieter grinder that grinds fast would be nice.

Need help! Buying advice needed! New to espresso machines and want ease of use and quality! [$800]
The semi-automatic and fully manual machines discussed in this sub are for hobbyists who prioritize the ability to "experiment with flavor" over "ease of use". There is a bit of a learning curve that must be climbed to get good results from them. If this sounds like you, consider a Breville Bambino

What is the Best Espresso Machine for daily use as of today 2026?
I’ve played with a lot of coffee equipment over the years. While I don’t have a breville on my coffee bar, I really like them! I used the Barista Pro for a while and think it’s a good machine for most people who just want some decent espresso. What I don’t like about it is the built in grinder. I’ve

Barista Express/ Impress or La Specialista Opera? [500-620 USD]
I have no idea about wattage converting or warranty claims in south east Asia but out of these two machines the Breville is higher quality and will make better coffee. That said, as someone with a Breville Barista Express, if I were purchasing an entry level espresso machine again I would get a Brev

This or that? Comparing Breville espresso machines
The letdown here is that Breville doesn't offer an otherwise advanced unit w/o a built in grinder. I find Breville grinders to be where costs are cut the most. They feel and sound cheap, and in my experience grind inconsistently. Now I have a DF54 and it's been a rock solid performer with my Bambino

Espresso afficionados
Gonna have to agree with the husband on getting a Grinder, however you dont need to spend $500. We have a Breville Smart Grinder Pro, its half that cost and we love it. Made a very noticeable difference in the quality of shots we are able to pull with our Breville Bambino Plus. Neither of these mach

Non-coffee drinker seeking advice on what espresso machine to buy for my daughter [$400-$500]
It depends on her personality and what she likes to do. There are some coffee machines in your price range where you can tinker with every detail (Gaggia Classic Pro E24 would be a good one for that) or even levers like the Flair 58 if she drinks mainly black coffee. But if she just wants to make co

What is the one purchase you have made under €500 that has changed your life?
I'm in the US and the brand is called Breville, but it's exactly the same, just called Sage in Ireland. It depends on your level of commitment. Personally I went with the Bamino Plus and got a half decent grinder (DF54 or Baratza Encore). The Bambino or Bambino Plus are more entry level, compared to
