Best coffee grinder in 2026 for home? My Budget $100–$300

Are people recommending grinders based on actual daily use or just specs? Because on paper DF54 sounds amazing flat burrs, low retention but I keep seeing mixed real world feedback about workflow and consistency. Meanwhile something like Encore ESP seems boring, but people actually stick with it lon

Espresso afficionados

I have the breville smart grinder pro, while not nearly as good as the df54, it’s a very acceptable espresso grinder and costs like 220 cad. Do not buy pre ground, the difference is quite significant.

What is the Best Espresso Machine for daily use as of today 2026?

I’ve played with a lot of coffee equipment over the years. While I don’t have a breville on my coffee bar, I really like them! I used the Barista Pro for a while and think it’s a good machine for most people who just want some decent espresso. What I don’t like about it is the built in grinder. I’ve

Thinking of pairing a Bambino with a 1Zpresso J-Ultra. Will I hate the manual workflow?

I think it depends on how many espressos youre making everyday. I use a manual grinder for an americano every morning and its really only 30 seconds of grinding for a really dialed in grind. if I have to make 4 cappuccinos? im using my slightly subpar electric grinder (I have an older breville smart

[Lagom Casa, Bambino Plus] taste not right

I also have the Lagom Casa with 65mm burrs and am also stumped. I’ve never noticed any particular “off flavor” that it imparts compared to my prior grinder (Breville Smart Grinder Pro). I primarily drink straight espresso and pour over with light to medium roasts. I would agree that it’s more clarit

Oracle Jet vs Bambino (+ Breville grinder) — or something else? [$1500]

Breville makes great brewers but poor grinders. This is true of both built in grinders on Barista/Oracle machines and separate grinders such as Smart Grinder Pro. When brewing espresso, the grinder is the most important part of the setup; much more important than the brewer. Follow the advice in the

Would yall say I’ve upgraded or downgraded?

The grinder is what makes a difference . not the machine to a pointI had a Breville SGP and it was horrible . I got the Rancilio stile grinder and it’s a world of difference

Why do coffee grinders cost so much?

I put off buying a coffee grinder for so long thinking the same things. Then my wife bought me the Breville smart grinder pro for my birthday for around $200. I felt guilty at first because it’s definitely something we did not need but it’s soo worth the money if you enjoy making different types of

1st machine purchase [$1k budget]

NQA I have a Bambino, and a 54mm bottomless portafilter. It's cheap as far as espresso machines go. It's ready in 3 seconds. I already had a Breville Smart Grinder Pro for Perc and for Pour Overs. It is not the best grinder option since I have been reading and watching videos. I get decent grinds an

Brand new to the espresso game. My first setup.

I am loving my Bambino Plus, 3 seconds ready time is really convenient! And the auto frother too! Used to pair it with the Breville Smart Grinder Pro, but due to the grinder always getting stuck on some hard beans, changed to Eureka Mignon Manuela, and now my morning coffee is perfect!!!
