Best coffee grinder in 2026 for home? My Budget $100–$300
Are people recommending grinders based on actual daily use or just specs? Because on paper DF54 sounds amazing flat burrs, low retention but I keep seeing mixed real world feedback about workflow and consistency. Meanwhile something like Encore ESP seems boring, but people actually stick with it lon

Espresso afficionados
I have the breville smart grinder pro, while not nearly as good as the df54, it’s a very acceptable espresso grinder and costs like 220 cad. Do not buy pre ground, the difference is quite significant.

[Lagom Casa, Bambino Plus] taste not right
I also have the Lagom Casa with 65mm burrs and am also stumped. I’ve never noticed any particular “off flavor” that it imparts compared to my prior grinder (Breville Smart Grinder Pro). I primarily drink straight espresso and pour over with light to medium roasts. I would agree that it’s more clarit

Why do coffee grinders cost so much?
I put off buying a coffee grinder for so long thinking the same things. Then my wife bought me the Breville smart grinder pro for my birthday for around $200. I felt guilty at first because it’s definitely something we did not need but it’s soo worth the money if you enjoy making different types of

Good beginner setup?[buying advice needed less than $800]
I have both the smart grinder and the encore esp. The smart grinder is better. Anyone that says otherwise doesn't have a direct comparison . Encore is manual, has far more retention and I find more inconsistent. I have to change the grind size on it just getting through a single bag of 250g beans. A

Breville Smart Grinder Pro or Fellow Opus Conical Burr [$200]
OK, so my feeling is first of all you shouldn’t be buying these through Amazon. I liked my Breville smart grinder pro. At the time, I didn’t think I was gonna upgrade if you plan to upgrade do not buy either of these go straight to a better grinder if you know what you like with beans and have a nic

Just got a Moccamaster KGBV - looking for a grinder recommendation
Breville smart grinder pro works great for me. No need to weight the coffee every time.

Why has Casabrews overtaken Delonghi and Breville?
Was gifted a Casabrews 4158 Pro for Christmas, picked up the new Mokkum 64mm flat burr grinder. New to espresso, Big fan of the Aeropress and pour overs. Made some beautiful shots with the 4158 Pro and the Mokkum. However, Casabrews machine broke after 3 weeks. Ugh. Facebook must have been listening

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
What drip coffee machine do you prefer? We currently have a cuisinart with thermal carafe that is some years old. And I just (literally today) purchased a Breville Smart Grinder Pro tonight which I suspect will be quite the upgrade from our blade grinder. Haha

i hate this thing
I've been using the Breville Smart Grinder Pro with the same espresso machine as yours. It been rock solid and does grind very fine. I have it set to 12 typically but that's dependent on the coffee bean. So with good espresso it's consistently good and hits the 12 o'clock mark on the pressure guage.
