Smart Grinder Pro

Are people recommending grinders based on actual daily use or just specs? Because on paper DF54 sounds amazing flat burrs, low retention but I keep seeing mixed real world feedback about workflow and consistency. Meanwhile something like Encore ESP seems boring, but people actually stick with it lon

Breville bambino & breville smart grinder pro ( ppl in this thread don’t like this grinder but it’s very very easy to use) it won’t grind light beans though, only medium and dark beans.

I have the breville smart grinder pro, while not nearly as good as the df54, it’s a very acceptable espresso grinder and costs like 220 cad. Do not buy pre ground, the difference is quite significant.

Yup, they match the pro and the smart grinder pro standalone unit, but have a higher RPM. Nothing noticeable but they probably grind faster. I do like the aesthetic and feel more than Breville.
