My Brother Wants me to get him a Laptop
I did a bunch of research and settled on getting a used Dell precision 7760. I redeemed my points with fetch and Swagbucks etc for eBay credit but by the time that all went through, the prices went insane and so now I'm going to have to wait for prices to go back down to what they were selling for j

P15 Gen 2 - good deal?
Just casually poking around on ebay i the USA, it looks like the A3000 specifically is quite a expensive option. You can get reltively basic P15 Gen2s for as low as $300ish and as soon as you tack A3000 onto the description they're listed at $900. As another data point: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3363

Need help with upgrading RAM on my Precision 7760 laptop
I'm curious what price range you're hoping to get one for and for what specs. I bought a 7760 on ebay about a month ago that was all but maxed out (i9, 64gb ram, rtx a5000 16gb gpu, 2tb ssd) with significant but inconsequential cosmetic damage for about $1000. That was nearly half what other sellers

Just got a "new" laptop... Dell Precision 7750
The 7750 doesn't have a touchscreen option AFAIK. I have 4x16gb sticks in my 7750. Also, you can do a GPU upgrade if you decide you ever need it, the Quadro RXT 4000 or 5000 would be a drop in replacement. For adding a fingerprint, I would contact Dell parts people (as in the company, not Dell suppo

Which laptop is better for a computer science cybersecurity student
Best choice: Dell Precision 7760 32GB RAM (great for running multiple virtual machines) Strong RTX A3000 GPU Better cooling and upgrade options More powerful long-term for cybersecurity work 🥈 Second: Dell Precision 5570 Lighter and nicer 4K screen But only 16GB RAM and less power 🥉 Third: HP ZBook

My other Dell is a latitude 55somethig or other and a decent machine as well Really the business class machines from dell are often rock solid and if you do have an issue it is simpl

Lenovo LOQ 4060 RTX vs Dell Precision A5000 what should I get for 3D rendering, editing, music mixing, coding, etc.?
What screen does the Dell have? Personally, I would buy the 7760. I have a 7750 and it is a very nicely built computer, the hinges are giant, the cooling is amazing (it can handle a full GPU and CPU load with no throttling or loss of wattage). It also has a full metal frame, and 4 NVME slots if you
