Yes they are. I've been trying to buy a Dell precision 7760 on eBay for weeks now. Plenty of them are refurbished but people are just getting too greedy with the prices. I'm okay with waiting until prices go down. A month and a half to 2 months ago prices were normal but now people are just greedy.

Gotcha. Honestly tough to say what to do, since you're already so focused on a specific model. I doubt the Lenovo equivalent to this machine will be priced much better.
