is this 3D printer any good?

The flashforge adventurer 5m is beyond capable, and you can find them for around 260. If I had to buy a printer again and I had a 600 dollar budget, I'd buy it again and get a bunch of filament for it.

3D Printer for Homelab

If you're ONLY getting a 3D printer for this project, DON'T get a 3D printer. Hell, if you're in the US, I'll print you the set of parts myself for the cost of plastic. If you want to dabble in 3D printing, the best thing I ever did was buy big. Don't buy for what you think you want to do, buy for t

Cursed rolling blocks.

Many will disagree with me, but I really love the ender 3. The fosscad community mostly doesn't like them anymore. I have a couple of them, and I'm actually getting ready to vertically wall mount one to be dedicated to printed ammo. For large batches of small things like this, it makes the most sinc

Whats the best enclosed 3d printer for beginners

the Flashforge adventurer 5m pro is a pretty good and relatively inexpensive option, but the Bambu P1S seems to be the more popular choice these days. you can find some good options in this thread

Sometimes it's OK to use airsoft parts (if it's a range toy)

Honestly an ender 3 is barely relevant for new purchases these days. A FlashForge Adventurer 5M is $250 Prime and so much more advanced than the Ender 3 these days. Much faster, practically zero assembly, direct drive for better flexible filament printing. It was my first 3d printer and from cutting

2nd hand 3d printer?

What do you consider a "lower budget?" The Centauri Carbon is only 289 brand new and it's a really good budget model for a beginner. A refurbished Adventurer 5M is 200 direct from Flashforge on eBay. It's missing some features the Carbon has, but it still makes nice prints. With either option you ge
