The best 27" 1440p gaming monitors in 2026 ($200-$300)
The LG 27GR83Q still stands as one of the top 240Hz 1440p IPS monitors for motion clarity, and the M27Q still stands as a great monitor for value and KVM. The AOC Q27G3XMN is probably the most interesting of these monitors, though. If you're concerned about contrast and single-player graphics, it's

People who have a PC, what purpose does deck serve you?
I have my PC and don’t use the deck hardly at all. I don’t need to, I have my PC. I use my deck during downtime at work though. My wife’s kiddos use the deck A LOT tho with the steam dock on my old gigabyte M27Q monitor. They’re learning how to use a PC with Linux first before Windows and got Minecr

The Best Gaming Monitors I’d Recommend for PS5 & PS5 Pro [Guide]
For that budget, a good 1440p HDMI 2.1 monitor is probably the sweet spot for PS5 Pro. The Gigabyte M27Q X and MSI MAG 274QRF-QD are both really solid for smooth gameplay, low input lag, and overall value.

Anyone use the Alienware aw2725dm monitor?
that alienware is decent for 1440p gaming but you're leaving performance on the table with a pro. for $200 you could grab the Acer Nitro XV272U which gives you 4k downsampling and better colors. another solid pick is the Gigabyte M27Q - runs about $220 on sale and has proper hdmi 2.1 bandwidth. the

[Poll] What's your (primary) monitor's refresh rate?
165 or 170 for me (M27Q Pro, but 170 doesn't seem to be available), but I'll usually cap it to 90 or 120 because I only play single player, can't really tell the difference above those, and it saves a bit on the power bill/heat in my room.

Hi Tech people! I am a senior graphic designer. Looking for a new PC build with monitor - Budget INR 1.6 L approx. Purpose - Gaming, Designing, Editing. Monitor would be 27 inch, 2K resolution. RAM: 64 GB. Help me with the best spec which would run long and upgradable.
Both options are “good,” but for pure gaming the 7800X3D build is clearly stronger; the 7700X + B650 combo is only worth it if it saves a lot of money or you care more about productivity than max FPS. If the price gap is small, stick with 7800X3D; go 7700X only if it’s significantly cheaper and you

G34WQC Display Drivers for Windows 10? Non-existent? Generic PnP monitor....
Zombie thread revival. There are separate drivers available on their website. To my knowledge, and I got this thing years and years ago - there always have been. if you are interested to get the most out of it, consider getting the Gigabyte Control Center. GCC will get you a monitor specific driver,

Help me choose: LG 27G610A-B vs. ASUS TUF VG27AQ5A Both at $229 CAD - 1440p Gaming & Productivity
Thanks for the detailed heads-up on that LG! It’s crazy how these brands trade off between panel quality control and actual performance. I actually ended up pulling the trigger on the Gigabyte M27Q P recently, since it was just 20 bucks more and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I definitely noticed

Bought a monitor, software sucks, so I’m writing my own.
Nice! I have the M27Q and M27Q Pro. Both great monitors but that would explain a recent linux issue with the M27Q where i had to swap usb-c type cables for it to show up as a 1440p rather than a 800x600.
