On sale at Costco
I have it. Speeds are great. Seamless roaming does not work as well as the Google Nest WiFi 5 system it replaces however.

50-65 ms latency on Quest 3 PCVR using virtual desktop on Godlike 200mbs bit rate 72/120hz tried changing encoders, same results. Can this improve?
You're internet speed has nothing to do with your PCVR connection. PCVR is purely reliant on local network variables. An easy fix is to get another router, plug it into your computers Ethernet port, give it its own SSID, and use that as a PCVR dedicated network. I currently use a nest pro for this,

Google Nest Wifi alternatives
I'm pretty sure Google is deliberately enshittifying their old products to force you to upgrade. I had a 2 node nest wifi plus 1 node from the 1st gen google wifi and it worked great for many years. Then in the past 2 years the 2nd nest point (the one with the speaker) started really flaking out on

help!
For an opposing POV, I have 2 of the older Google Wi-Fi (GJ2CQ) and 2 of the slightly newer Nest Wi-Fi (H2D) and they've been working nearly flawlessly for years. The only times I've had issues with them is when the ISP goes out. In which case I simply need to wait for the ISP to come back up and th

Smart home from scratch, where do I even start?
I use Switchbot roller shades, Switchbot sensors (for temp and humidity), as well as their blind tilts and button pushers. Kasa smart switches, Hue lights, and a Nest Learning Thermostat with an Aprilaire whole house humidifier slaved to it for wintertime. Love them all. I automate each brand via it

compatibility with google wifi
The three options you describe will work but personally I would upgrade from the original Google WiFi mesh since this is quite old tech with WiFi 5 instead of 6. There's quite a jump there so the Nest Pro or Hyperoptic's mini hub should offer an improvement in speed and network stability. I use Eero

Better alternative routers
I just plugged my old Google/Nest WiFi mesh set up back in, it’s only WiFi 5 but it works fine and I didn’t have to do any set up.

done fighting WiFi extenders in the yard. 4G for outdoor stuff instead?
My Google Nest wifi router covers a half acre lot well. It can mesh to multiple access points but I haven't needed that. Internet companies typically provide cheap, crappy routers. Turn their built-in router off and add a Nest wifi device, should do the trick. You might need to experiment in where t

Just installed Starlink, need help
Buy a good quality mesh system. Put the SL router in bypass mode and place your mesh in order to extend them to the second home. I personally use the Google Nest WiFi Pro.
