Clamp speakers, most disappointing purchase in years.

My solution to buying 4 of these speakers was to return them. My JBL flip 5 sounds better

Hank-value-tier Wireless Speaker?

True, h/k and JBL are both under harman international which is owned by samsung electronics. Personally I have 2 flip 5's which sound pretty good when stero paired and a H/K Citation 200 which has the most perfect sound signature I've ever heard in a portable speaker, better than a $899 Devialet Man

I might have come across a new way of EQ-ing

that being said there are all sorts of dirty tricks that smaller speaker systems use to make them sound good ( i love my jbl flip 5!). . and if you've ever seen an recording / mixing or mastering engineer at work they use tons of tricks to make things sound bigger, cleaner, etc..

Need help deciding...

I actually do enjoy my Klipsch The Three. It's great to play sleep sounds. Works well for music and tv in the bedroom. And for when you travel and rent that boomy A-frame cabin with the 40" Vizio where you can't hear anything because the shitty small speaker in the giant room - it works really well.

Unpopular opinion: Most people are buying the *wrong* Bluetooth speaker

I was pleasantly surprised by the Beats Pill at lower volumes: the v-shape tuning certainly helps, but listening off-axis, it's quite nice with nice, deep bass. Battery wise, I like the XTREME4 which has a pretty crazy battery capacity for its size & has far longer real-world battery than the simila

Dick Dale and Link Wray made heavy metal (try to change my view)

Damn bro, that was a cool rif. I literally had to upgrade for my JBL Flip5, to my Sherwood stereo amp with Sansui floor shakers! Great finish, thanks for the motivation. (I'm buying you a beer)🍺🍺

Best entry level setup for beginners?

If you wanna make a modular DJ setup, then you perhaps should look into MIDI controller. You need something with at least 16 pads, 8 knobs and 4 faders (the more - the better, knobs and faders are interchangable btw). My first DJ setup was 2 SMC Pads, a SMC Mixer, a JBL Flip 5 speaker, a USB hub to

What Radio/Speaker upgrades do you recommend for my 08 E?

My Element has the original factory CD/AM/FM unit that sounds great. I want Apple CarPlay to play music from my iPhone. My Element has a lot of maintenance issues that are a priority over stereo system. My temporary solution was a JBL Flip5 Bluetooth speaker that fills the cabin with music from my i

Bluetooth Speaker Recommendation

I've got a JBL Flip Five and its great. Small enough to fit in a purse or backpack but big enought to create good sound. Reasonably priced as well.
