While the Nikon user in me says “Z9 ftw” the space exploration aspect for humanity makes me happy that they got cameras with them regardless of the brand.

The Nikon, the kit lenses are better and Nikon didn't bring the cripple hammer to the Z50II so it gets the full range of automatic AF capabilities from the Z9. But it's not by a lot (OK, the lens is a lot better, the body less so), they're both very good.
