BWT: Anyone ditch their Apple Watch?

sorry, I think oura rings are SO ugly. they’re clunky and everyone knows you’re walking around with a lil data tracker you pay monthly for. I think we could all be tracked/tracking our own data a little less. I just stopped wearing my watch altogether. I know my phone is its own data mining device,

There's a lot going on in there.

Is called being hyper aware and over functioning. Possibly due to generalized anxiety. I’ve been working to lower how much I do this with my therapist cus this kind of brain activity floods the body with adrenaline and cortisol which can cause long term health issues - often in the form of autoimmun

Switched from outdoor job to desk job (weight gain)

Hey, been there! Ive worked a desk job 9-6 M-F for the last 12 years, here are my tips: I keep two lunchboxes in my office fridge every week. One filled with snacks (yogurts, protein bars, carrots, fruit, hummus, dips, etc) and another with healthy beverages (seltzers, unsweetened teas, diet sodas,

I just inherited 12 million dollars. I don't know what to do with my life.

Yes, I totally agree. I was gifted an OURA ring and I had no idea how much stress I was under. These mechanisms can really help you get to know what your body needs, etc.

BWT: Anyone ditch their Apple Watch?

I’m in the same boat. Love the info that my Apple Watch provides, especially tracking steps and mileage when I go on walks/runs. But the aesthetic is getting old and I hate the idea of always being connected and accessible. Also, sometimes my watch gets hot on my wrist and I wonder how it’s affectin

can someone please tell me how im supposed to know when to rest and when to push through

Honestly? I bought an Oura ring for this reason. My therapist has been pushing me to rest and take time and not push myself into exhaustion. It was so hard and I couldn’t like “do it” and know when was too much. I’m a data person. So…. I got the Oura ring. It is like the thoughtful mother I never ha

Visible band or oura ring?

I have worn Oura for years and it does nothing for my POTS, because it does not offer constant heart rate monitoring. It takes a measurement every once in a while throughout the day. It doesn’t help me pace myself, since the data arrives after the fact. It also does not predict tiredness or stress.

BWT: Anyone ditch their Apple Watch?

I just got an Oura ring. I never wear my watch now (I had the same issue of digital fatigue) but now I only wear it when I'm working out. Oura is not good at getting data from when you're working out, so it's better to use your apple watch for that. It will import the data into your Oura app. The on

Oura Ring and Apple Watch Ultra

Honestly, with Oura as your main tracker you're not missing much by taking the Apple Watch off at night. Day-only AWU + Oura for sleep is a clean setup.

Health tracker

I have an oura ring and as someone with health anxiety it’s actually been a blessing and helped reassure me vs make me spiral (which I was worried about). I’m not concerned abt the data selling allegations, we use smart phones that track our every move. But to each their own, of course.
