Lumix L10 Preview (Micro Four Nerds)
I'm sorry but I feel like Panasonic is helpless. They swing and miss with everything since the GX85. I love what they are trying to do but this leaves so many questions. I also love Emily's videos, but she is a content creator, she raves about a camera like the OM-3, then a couple weeks after her "1

Can Panasonic please put G9 II's sensors on the S9 body?
I'm not a huge fan of the S9 body. It's more of a fashion accessory, and it's not even that small, all things considered (no EVF, no MSHTR - at least it's got IBIS). I would like to see the sensor in a G100 body - with IBIS. Probably not realistic though - both physically and considering how Panason

What Are Thoughts on Top 50 Best Selling Cameras in Japan ? M43 Odd Representation
So, having lived in Japan I can tell you it's much less important to Japanese consumers how 'old' a camera is. The dedicated photographers tend to lean towards reliable technology and have affection for proven bodies, while the mass market leans towards small, cute and easy to use. There's no 'chasi

Sigma just announced the new full-frame L-mount Sigma BF
the big problem is that its worse in every way to an a7c, or a7cii you cant make up excuses for not having critical features when your competitors can include the same features with cameras of the same size and price. the design, lack of buttons, no sd card and even no ibis would be fine disregardin

FUJIFILM X-E5 Promotional Video/ FUJIFILM
It's certainly not aimed at pros, unless a wedding photographer wants a B cam for stylized shots. Yet it's priced high enough to exclude most casual users. Every brand is hopping on the bandwagon with this rangefinder-esque style: Nikon Zf, Lumix S9, Sony A7C. I love the way all of these cameras loo

Which camera should I get for family travel and documentary, Lumix G9ii or S5ii?
I made the switch from G85 to G9 to S5 two years ago. Sold my complete MFT-equipment since and never looked back. My main reasons: - I wanted more low light performance indoor when shooting the kids running around - I wanted a fast zoom lens that lets you shoot with a shallow depth of field - For al

I got caught in the L10 hype but ended up buying an S9 instead
We are both hybrid shooters so video is pretty important. And I just got done shooting an event with my G9ii and the 50-200 and got tripod/monopod like shots at 600mm full frame equivalent with crop zoom handheld thanks to IBIS. I think a lot of the target audience who mostly want a travel photograp

Osaka on the Lumix L10
i agree that manual zoom would be more functional, but i can see why they did electronic zoom because it comes off as more 'premium,' which the $1500 point-and-shoot crowd will care about. the people buying this have money and will care more about how it feels to shoot with than enthusiast/pro-level

Does anyone buy Lumix L10 over Fujifilm X100VI?
This is the elephant in the room. They call it a still camera but make it huge to handle most of the video specs of a G9ii. This leads me to believe a M43 mount could be coming. If it were truly a stills camera it could be much smaller and not need 4k 120. The size doesn't seem close to the GM1, pre

Canon user to Lumix S9
I just bought an S9 to supplement my Canon R7, and while I haven’t done much testing yet I can say the ergonomics are awful (as you’d expect), the build quality lacking (especially the buttons and dials), and the thing isn’t that compact or light (feels like a brick), the autofocus is worse (though
