Dear Lumix, please don't create an EVF for a camera that is meant for video first and portability. Create a grip the height of the mount though. If somebody wants S9 with EVF they should just do a quick Google search that S9 with EVF and a grip is called S5.

Getting the TTArtisan AF 40mm f/2......
Okay Lumix is 400 - I thought it was 300. Also good to know about the up close strength. Only enough for my S9, I actually don't like the metal lenses because they weigh down the light body. That was my issue with the sigma. Seems weird preferring worse materials, but for my use case I just wanted l

Do you think Lumix will release an S9 with mechanical shutter?
From the various interviews that Panasonic have in Japan about the S9, who it is aimed at and why certain design decisions were made, they would only do that if they were targeting another audience.

Camera recommendation for disability.
Boohoo. I'm clearly very naive. As I am rural I hadn't seen these newer mirrorless options in hand, and had just assumed visually more compact = lighter, having looked at the weights, they are generally heavier than I expected. Doh, they just looked so much more compact in pictures lol. I guess IBIS

Dad Cam help
A lot of people here will try to downplay the low light issue. I think none of those people have taken a photo of their kids on Halloween. It really sucks for this sort of thing even with aggressive AI denoise. That camera is Zf. I might not recommend that camera specifically but it’s one of the cam

M43 - Starter Kit - Criticism Please
I don’t recommend MFT for your use. FF wins for family due to all the bad lighting you find yourself in. Cheap small f2 FF lenses outperform large expensive f1.2 MFT lenses for low light performance. FF wins for landscape due to resolution, resolving power and dynamic range. If the sensor is 1/4 as
