It's not about "trying to force" anything on HDR. It's about having a proper accurate SDR-to-HDR tonemap. SDR content shouldn't be messed up just because HDR is enabled in settings. VA native contrast is fantastic. My Odyssey G7 still looks great next to my OLED monitor (except when showing darker elements). IPS native contrast is trash though.

Not for me on the Odyssey Neo G7, if set to Full, it will mistakenly clip max brightness of HDR at 1600 nits or so, when my monitor is supposed to max at 1000 or so nits (on Limited, it is 1060 nits.
