Samsung VA is the only real except. My Odyssey G7 1440p 240hz (no miniled) has no black smear. It does have worse VRR flicker than my OLED tho which is weird.

same here, I have a Samsung Odyssey G7, which I think is also not that good with HDR, and even with the calibration tool it washes out the blacks a lot, and in some cases it also affects performance

There's a lot of bad information here. This is a limitation of VA panels, they... On average. SUCK. But there are a few outliers. I just got a new 4k Samsung Odessey Neo G7 43 inch monitor and with the drivers on my 7900xt its been very odd with just browsers dropping out and giving me driver crashes other than that during games its fine and no drop outs unless Im idle for a very long time or afk. Never really did that before

Have a 1440p 240hz monitor (odyssey g7) and so far its haven't seen frames above 150hz w/ a 5080 + 9950x3d and most settings on epic. OP, which monitor/s and GPU? VRR on or off? Fullscreen or Windowed? DX11/Vulkan? Launch options? In general more details needed from your setup. This issue has just started for me as well but I also recently been testing new monitors so I chalked it up to that. I also run a -20 offset on CPU and did
