Samsung VA is the only real except. My Odyssey G7 1440p 240hz (no miniled) has no black smear. It does have worse VRR flicker than my OLED tho which is weird.

There's a lot of bad information here. This is a limitation of VA panels, they... On average. SUCK. But there are a few outliers. yes but im talking about monitors that cost less than an oled, odyssey g9 doesn't have black smearing, but it costs over 1k, ark 2 costs over 2k. they are not for regular people. odyssey g7 neo 4k, also doesn't have black smearing but that's a 4k monitor.

I just got a new 4k Samsung Odessey Neo G7 43 inch monitor and with the drivers on my 7900xt its been very odd with just browsers dropping out and giving me driver crashes other than that during games its fine and no drop outs unless Im idle for a very long time or afk. Never really did that before

I've had the issue literally start today my laptop is connected to a Samsung odyssey g7 monitor. Never had any issues now i have black border around the entire monitor. I've changed and played with every setting im wondering if its related to the new nvidia update that occurred today.
