Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?
I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

L10 size vs Pen F
I do genuinely understand some of the criticism; people want a M4/3 camera with all the bells and whistles, that looks stylish, and is something that they can just have in a pocket when they're put and about. I get that; I'd love that myself. But this thing is honestly about as close as you'd get to

Sony is slowly improving the ergonomics of its cameras, but it’s still not enough | I own and use Sony cameras all the time, but I’m perpetually blown away by how much nicer it is to hold a Canon or Nikon
Some interesting perspectives from this photographer: I’ve been railing against this niche nuisance for years now. And I give Sony credit for at least starting to pay attention to it in 2023 with the A9 III, but it just isn’t doing enough. My A9 III feels slightly better to use than my original A1 t

First leaked pictures of the upcoming Nikon Zr camera
That body looks nice. Nikon really needs something that is a mix of a Sony A7C ii body and A7Siii capabilities.

Unflaterring Skin Tones (particularly on yellow skin people)?
Second this. Own A7CII and used a Fuji for a couple of days. Like the colors of the film recipes from Fuji but found it extreme unintuitive to use the Fuji and the AF on Sony far superior and also the lens options are really nice because you’ve got a lot of options. For me the more intuitive use and

🔥 The Focal Length That Defines You as a Street Photographer 👀📸
Although I do now shoot with the Sony 40mm lens with the A7C II, I still like the 35mm because it just feels right for some reason. Depending on the scene and where I am, sometimes the 28 can feel good, too.

Sony Fanboy Looking at Fuji
Hey mate, I’m in a similar situation to you, got an A7cii and a range of prime/zoom lenses. Just feel like the Sony is a machine, no questions on its capabilities, but as a hobbyist/casual shooter, I don’t enjoy using it. Feel guilty selling it though, because it’s a bloody great camera 😂 I’m going

Upgrade paths beyond the GX85+15mm
Maybe Sony A7C(or A7C II) + Samyang/Viltrox lens around 28-35mm would be perfect for your needs?I upgraded from GX85 to Sony A7 III but I also considered A7C and I was able to hold them both and A7C was very comfortable in my (small) hands - slightly more comfortable than GX85 in my opinion. It won'

Sony A7C vs a6700 -- is it worth the extra money?
Great post at explaining the pros/cons of each! I have the A6700, but did seriously consider getting the A7CII, but went for the former in the end, especially as the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8, Sigma 56mm f/1.4 and Sony 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 are so compact. I also have the Sony 15mm f/1.4 G, the Viltrox 25mm
