Fake cop tried to get my wife out of the car on Wilson rd
They're kinda all the same at this point. I'd say anything with 1080p and some kinda built in wifi so you can see what the camera sees when setting it up. 4k is cool and all but from what I remember of a comprehensive video about dash cams, higher resolution doesn't always mean better quality. And t

I was in a hit and run accident Monday.
I can’t stress this enough for everyone. Dash. Cam. They aren’t crazy expensive. This thing saved my ass by a lying bitch who ran into me 4 years ago. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/thinkware-q200-2k-front-1080p-rear-dash-cam-with-gps-and-wi-fi-dark-blue/J3ZRK5Y38Z/sku/6576703?sb_share_source=PDP&ref

Dropping Mirror with Dash Camera...
A clip on mirror is not a one size fits all solution. They’re heavy and not all mirrors will hold them up. That said the Rexing M2 is a piece of junk. Get rid of that and swap to a Thinkware Q200, much better product.

Dashcams - I've been reading a bunch of threads and still feel unclear on which to buy & how much it matters
Thinkware Q200 2K Front & Rear Dash Cam Bundle (Q200DCH32) | Visions Electronics Canada https://share.google/7EB4oaE6bhjLHuiKE I have this set up, I've been happy with it. It's hardwired but there is an accessory socket plug in cable.

Best Dashcam to Buy in 2026? (Price, Video Quality, Everyday Use)
Thinkware q200 2CH is a low cost reliable 2k dash cam. Enough to show who had the green light, works well enough at night. BlackVue Elite 9 2CH is a high cost reliable 4k dash cam. Better picture esp. at night, better cloud features, support for larger SD cards. Lots of great option from both Blackv

Road rage incident near Goodale Park
I've had this one for a year on June 1st and it's great. The phone app is nicer looking and much quicker and less clunky then most other dash cams I've had. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/thinkware-q200-2k-front-1080p-rear-dash-cam-with-gps-and-wi-fi-dark-blue/6576703.p?skuId=6576703

a good dashcam for my family car
You're not looking at good dash cams. Check the pinned comments.or sidebar for starting points, or just buy a Thinkware q200.

Witnessed 18-wheeler vs sedan hit and run
Thinkware Q200 is the best buy, imo. i spent a couple months casually researching (r/dashcams is an excellent resource) and settled on that model. Thinkware is known to handle Texas summers well, and the Q200 comes with a front and rear camera option. install is a breeze.

Any thing you added that you can't live without?
Dash cam. Regardless of this being a Bronco specific thread. My BF is an ex paramedic, and now a 911 dispatcher. With all temhe stories I've heard from him/his coworkers / and the cops he knows, a dash cam that grabs evidence can be worth it's weight in gold. Even more so with current socioeconomic

- ability to review her data from my phone would be a huge plus. A cloud dash cam is the best way to accomplish this. Connect the camera to the hotspot on the driver's phone, and you can access clips over the Internet. Thinkware Q200 is an economical example. U3000 is a higher end model with better
