- ability to review her data from my phone would be a huge plus. A cloud dash cam is the best way to accomplish this. Connect the camera to the hotspot on the driver's phone, and you can access clips over the Internet. Thinkware Q200 is an economical example. U3000 is a higher end model with better

Christmas gift for my 75 y/o dad.
Thinkware q200 is what I'd recommend. You can set it up to connect to the hotspot on his phone so you can access it remotely if he needs your help. It's as close to set and forget as you can get. Anything less tends to be unreliable and needs playing with or monitoring.

Why everyone should have a dash cam
If you live in the heat (I'm in Phoenix) Thinkware is very good. The F70 pro is a 1080p camera , basic 99.99, Wi-Fi to connect to the camera to view videos (No screen) They have the Q200 pro for 119.99. No screen you use the app to connect. It's a 2k video vs 1080p so a step up for 20 bucks more. If

Almost accident and need good dashcam
Just find a front & rear dashcam along with a battery pack that goes with it. It's quite costly but worth the long run. Thinkware q200 for example.

Dashcam information overload. Advice needed
Get a Thinkware cam with an ODB2 cable. The Q200 is a decent starting point. Dongar adapters work if all you are looking for is recording while driving, and you have a compatible mirror and dash cam.

Canada/AB: Dashcam Recommendation
I have a Thinkware Q200, and yes - when viewing on my phone, it connects via wifi instead of Bluetooth (Google Pixel 9 Pro XL). Once you set up the connection the first time, it's just a single tap in the camera app to have it connect for you. It definitely takes a minute to load the recorded clips,

Looking for wireless dashcam
without need for SD card(unless it's required and I'm just stupid) Bingo. and has an app that shows my recordings, and maybe a bit affordable. Thinkware Q200 is as low as I'd go, lots of models above, many with Bluetooth, that will work with your Volvo.

What’s your dash cam and why do you like it?
Thinkware Q200. Both front and back cameras are really compact. I drive a Camaro so visibility is already bad. The front is almost completely tucked out of sight by the rearview mirror. The back is directly in the middle but small ebough to have zero hindrance. Reviews had a lot of complaints about

What’s your dash cam and why do you like it?
Reviews had a lot of complaints about smart phone connectivity issues, but I have experienced none of that. So far it has worked exactly as advertised with no issues at all. Most confuse phone security and connection issues with dash cam app issues. There are also a few different Thinkware apps and
