Agreed. I have the Deco BE95, and it has a lot more horsepower and more RAM than the BE25, as a result I only see a 80-100 Mbps drop in speed (2.85 Gbps w/VPN vs 2.95 + Gbps w/no VPN). The Deco BE25 is a very very low end router.

Actually most WiFi 7 routers/APs/extenders don't have 6 GHz. The minimum for WiFi 7 compliance is 2.4+5 GHz operating together in MLO, and a lot of WiFi 7 devices only implement the bare minimum.
