The video needs to loop for a maximum of 3 minutes to be on the safe side from the mechanics we've spoken too, but ours has a 5 minute and continual recording option too. We ended up getting the Vantrue N4 Pro and it's been a godsend. 3 minute looping, G-force video locking and a privacy mode that d

If it weren’t illegal I’d honestly love to have a dash cam with a screen the size of an iPad just sitting there showing everything loud and clear. Too bad my Vantrue N4 Pro doesn’t go that big. But hey, Uber does notify passengers if you’ve got a dash cam set up, and throwing a little sticker on the

For a hundred bucks or so, I got a Rove R2-4K. Just does front-facing (they have other models). It's been solid for 6 years, no problems. Last year's research led me to the Vantrue N4 Pro for a new car we got. It has front, rear and cabin cameras and I finally figured out how to turn off the cabin c

And actually uses it's dual exposure mode to capture plates. Love my vantrue n4 pro but at the time it came out it didn't seem like any other camera actually used this mode correctly. Maybe it's changed.

I have a Vantrue N4 Pro (3ch) in my car and a Baseus VD1 Pro (2ch) in my wife. If it’s your first time getting a dashcam, I’d recommend the VD1 Pro since it’s a nice balance of price/quality/easy setup. Some cheaper dashcams only record in interpolated 4K, which looks blurry compared to true 4K. Wit

Uh Oh! Then you couldn’t have done anything. If you’ve got the budget then ensure you get a dashcam with 4k in front. I stretched and got Vantrue N4 Pro but there are cheaper alternatives available around 20k or less as well.

Vantrue N4 pro S with starvis 2 sensors and simultaneous dual exposure recording is the only camera you should look at if you want readable license plates at night. Go look at YouTube comparisons. It's untouchable in that regard.

Ohno... Can't believe how careless people are these days. I’ve got the same vantrue n4 pro, and this is exactly why I think a dashcam is a must
