The device is really cool because it’s minimalistic and pocketable but in order to be a book reader it lacks: decent epub rendering capability: it improved recently

Xteink X4. It's taking the e-reader community by storm, albeit a small storm, maybe just a gust. The original firmware is okay, but the community firmware is a lot better, it's called Crosspoint.

I hope the XTeink team has reached out to you, because your converter is genuinely game changing for their efforts to break into the international market. You can read it quite comfortably. The built-in font actually supports multiple size options, so you can increase the text size without doing anything extra.
