W-oled vs QD-oled
Still plenty of other points to QD OLED other than what you mentioned imo; - 3 year standard burn in warranties on monitors, while having comparable burn in resistance (if not better on latest gen panels) to WOLED - No white sub pixel dilution in saturated HDR games/content - No near black chrominan

These shaders are among the best I've ever seen! Just had to share this!
I’ll get photos tomorrow. I’m running the cyberlab hdr arcade hdr shader. I have an Alienware aw3423dw monitor. It’s a qd-oled. I’m running your shaders stock as is. I changed the sub pixel to rgb and it seems only a tad better. On qd oled. Is their a recommended shader you suggest. I have a 800tvl

AW3423DFW vs AW3225QF
I have both. Pros and cons 4k is more demanding but also you'll notice the black levels are better on the aw3423dw the gamma is different on the 32. Also you'll need more distance between yourself and the monitor itsa good amount taller. I'd say you can get it and try it out and if you don't like it

Monitor(s) to pair with the 5080?
I’ve got the Dell/Alienware AW3423DW OLED 34” ultra wide and it’s great. Goes up to 175hz at 3440x1440. Should still be available unless there’s a newer model now.

Buying a new gaming TV but will also use it as a monitor, should I avoid OLED?
Ive got almost 3 years of heavy use on my alienware 3423dw. No burn in and no noticeable drop in brightness. At first I was also worried about oled being a bit more fragile. But I'm more than happy with my decision. Color quality on oled is insane. Every other monitor looks washed out in comparison

[ OLED Tips ] When You Shouldn’t Run Pixel Refresh on Your LG OLED
Any proof? Hmm..🤔 “To prevent permanent Image Retention caused by static content when you use the >>monitor<< for at least 1,500 hours, >>manually<< activate the Panel Refresh function to refresh the pixels. *Alternatively, the function is activated *automatically when the accumulated usage time excee

Upgraded from a 3080ti to 5070ti…WOW
I went from a 3080 10gb to a 5070ti and its been a nice uplift overall. I mostly did it for vram and a friend was upgrading and I sold her the 3080 cheap. I was getting like 60 to 70fps in stalker 2 and im now at 80 to 110 at higher settings no frame gen on. 100% get an oled, i got myself the AW3423
