Need to install ethernet ASAP, but I need a little guidance
Pictures included to help show where the run (I think) should go
Just moved into a new house and need to hardwire my office ASAP, since my current eero Pro 6E mesh setup (on Fidium Fiber) has too much ping for work Zoom calls. I'm a long-time lurker and know the very basics of home networking, but

My portal drives me insane
I have had it for about a year and have tried everything under the sun to get it to work properly.
Every time I use it, it starts off well, then within the first ten minutes becomes fuzzy, and almost feels like I’m walking through mud in any game I play. I love it when it works, but it’s so unreli

Wired Backhaul Connectivity keeps switching to 'Wireless'
Good day, I have been battling an issue lately which I have seen others battling. Here's the situation. I have four Google Mesh Pro 6E points. The primary is connected directly to my AT&T gigabit router, and then sends wired internet to a Netgear 20port UNMANAGED gigabit switch. From this switch, it

Time For An AirPort Extreme Comeback?
Am I the only one who thinks it’s time for a comeback of the AirPort Extreme with Wi-Fi 7 as a mesh networking option?
I currently use the eero Pro 6 with 4 hubs to cover my house and outdoor area and it works well, but I despise the lack of privacy I have with my internet traffic being monitored b

Speeds not correct???
If it's the FRX523 ONT, the active WAN port is 10 Gig, but the other inactive ports are only gigabit. However, my point still stands about the Eero Pro 6e's ports, which are definitely not 10 Gbps.

Alien Setup Replacement
It looks like I am coming to the end of my life on my Alien setup. One of my Aliens has been giving me trouble for a while now and everything seems to be slowing down and lagging. I have had this setup for 5 years now and it is the best mesh setup I have owned yet. Previously I owned both Netgear

Gateway Max in stock! Replacing eero pro 6e with 2.5Gb WiFi 7 for about the same price.
Getting my feet wet after over a year on eero WiFi for home - average 1400 sq ft Midwest 2-story. Paid $400 for a pair of eero units. I wasn’t liking that eero wants to charge a monthly fee to see web activity and set parental controls. Plus they tend to go offline for a minute randomly here and the

My homebase 3 will switch to performance mode by it self
It started about a month ago after a software update.
Every time I set it to Standard Mode, it automatically switches back to Performance Mode after a little while.
My HomeBase 3 has been causing a lot of interference with my Eero Pro 6E mesh system.
I switched it to Standard Mode to help reduce

pfSense updated to 2.8.0 then eero network has problems with internet access
I updated pfSense to 2.8.0 a few days ago and started experiencing problems with my eero Pro 6E network (the physical description is below). Short version - the devices connected to the Pro 6E router ("6E main") seem to work almost perfectly - speeds are great, and once in a while I have to turn WiF

3xAP7: Decent speeds. Poor signal.
Just got my next two AP7’s from the last round (making 3 total). Now that I’ve fully removed my Eero Pro 6E’s from the equation, I’ve been testing the speeds and signal strengths around my house. Honestly, While speeds are good, I’m a bit disappointed in the signal strength. All 3 AP7’s are in the e
