Firewalla Noob... First Impressions of AP7 and Gold SE
My setup: Xfinity 2Gig X8 Modem -> FWG SE => AP7 (new SSID) and Eero Pro 6E (legacy network).
Ok. So far... I love this system. I'm new to the ecosystem, but I have very few complaints. I'll layout some observations for the dev team:
1.) The Eero app seems to detect new devices a lot faster than t

Frontier Actually Did The Right Thing
So I recently got Frontier Fiber after they installed it in my area, and I went with the 2-gig plan. After reading a lot of posts in this sub, I was honestly pretty nervous about their support and reliability.
But my experience so far has actually been really good. The installer showed up on time,

Metronet(t-mobile) vs att fiber experiences here in Fishers
Another vote for Metronet. I pay $92.95 (includes all taxes and fees) for 2GB down, 1GB up. We use Eero Pro 6e mesh system. My wife and I both work from home full-time and have three teenagers with streaming devices. Never any issues with streaming degradation. The only service problem we’ve had was

Eero Pro 6e —> AP7 Experience
I recently migrated from Eero Pro 6e access points to AP7’s. I use a Firewalla Gold SE with two WAN connections (2G + 1G). My home is a 3-story, wood framed house and around 4800 sq/ft with HVAC equipment and tile flooring causing some impact on range and signal strength.
I just migrated from 4 E

Orbi AC3000 will be End Of Service within 45 Days
Crazy. I'm surprised because your Netgear Orbi AX5700 (RBK842) was released around October 2019. I have a set of eero Pro 5 purchased in 2019 still running. Looks like they'll continue providing security updates for at least another 4 years through March 2030 (https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/artic

Best Mesh For The Money - Black Friday Deals 2025
Eero is what we install as a company and we get 0 callbacks for them. We have ~50 sites going currently. Eero Pro 6e is pretty rock solid, but we've started moving to the Eero Pro 7. Just did a setup with three where i was getting 800 Mbps in every room in a split-level home.

My wi-fi problems may have been solved
I've had an AMD Framework 13 for a year, and wi-fi has been my major complaint. Poor signal, random drops, and slow speeds, even though there's a node in the same room. After a great solution in a comment on the post I made in r/amazoneero today, I think things have been fixed. This is very likely a

Need some router recommendations for speeds over 1000mbps.
Hi, just switched over to a new 1000mbps plan on Aussie Broadband. However, my current router only seems to be capable of doing 250mbps.
Aussie Broadband recommended me to get the Eero pro 6E router from their site. Is it worth the money or are there any better gigabit routers that i can buy from a

Recommendation for SQM Router
The Eero 6 Pro is fine, although you might want to step up to the Eero 6E Pro. But you can’t be running two routers at the same time. Only one device should be acting as the router, and it’s the Eero. You won’t alleviate bufferbloat issues just by plugging an Eero into your existing router, that’s n

Altafiber Gateway Upgrade
Not sure why I’m getting downvoted for providing accurate information? Eero pro 6e is a $250 router so their rental at $15 means you’d break even in 17 months by buying your own. Orbi is not directly compatible with Eero, you’d have to switch your Netgear devices into AP mode and figure it out from
