I have my own (mini) Rocky! 🥰
Thank you! I currently have an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra printer, which I recently upgraded to from a much smaller Elegoo Mars (first generation). It's been pretty much foolproof since I bought it, once I'd manually levelled it. I also have the Elegoo Mercury Plus v3 wash and cure station, which has hug

New to Resin - which saturn?
Generally speaking the Saturn 4 Ultra 16k is the best option for most people. I investigated and wrote the original post explaining the 3-bit grayscale deficiency and it is still present. I also bought a S4U 16k and subsequently worked out a dithering method with UVTools to restore a significant por

Looking to replace my current printers. Need input from professionals
Elegoo Mars 3 Pro, Saturn 3 and Saturn 4 Ultra owner, been running them for the past 4 years +. (Starting slowly with the Mars and building up to the later ones. ) I use Chitubox Pro for slicing. Only had an issue once with a power switch pcb which Elegoo was happy to provide after verifying it was

Xal'atath resin printed and fully painted!
It really is! The printer I'm using is the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K. All the parts took around four full plates in total (usually fits on three at her default size), with each plate taking about 4 to 5 hours to complete. The total production time is surprisingly short considering the level of detai

Screen's end of life ?
Those black dots ? Yep, screen is dead. You bought it in 2023 ? Either you don't print often, or you're very lucky. Prints don't hold for long across multiple prints. It's perfectly normal, ask yourself : why your printer has a 1 year warranty, except the screen which has a 6 months warranty ? And a

Is buying doll bodies or getting a resin printer better?
I’ve got an Elegoo Saturn printer - the 1st one. They’re up to Saturn 4 now. I freaking love my Saturn 1. I just did a quick eBay search and found a Saturn 2 going for $150. If you can find something refurbished, or a good looking used one with some decent-sounding guarantees around it, there’s no n

Which printer?
I can’t recommend the Elegoo Saturn 4 enough. I just got it and I’ve had so few issues. And the stuff that i did run into was all common sense stuff that I should have caught before printing

Defecting from Anycubic, any recommendations?
Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16 K for the win! It has great specs, super beginner friendly and comes with a heater, self levels and the quick release vat you're looking for! My 2 cents? Always check your exposure settings. 2 Build plates and Vats sound like hell! I'm still a beginner, but so far I've had z

Defecting from Anycubic, any recommendations?
Id look at the ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra 16K. It fits because the heated tank and auto leveling match your minis use. The vat is not really M7 style quick release though.

Need help picking between Form 4 and Mars 5 Ultra for Research Lab!
First off, if the budget is big enough, eff it, get the Form 4. It ain't your money. I can't say anything about the Mars 5 Ultra as I have a Saturn 4 Ultra 16K, but Elegoo in general can be very hit or miss. They tend to have issues with components that need replacing sooner than normal and their cu
