Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16k - Water Washable
I'll just assume it bots or something, but for whatever reason, this thread is just filled with wrong answers. Well, technically the Wait time before print suggestion is correct, but is still useless because it fails to provide any guidelines for settings or why it works. Rest / Wait time is why you

New to Resin - which saturn?
Generally speaking the Saturn 4 Ultra 16k is the best option for most people. I investigated and wrote the original post explaining the 3-bit grayscale deficiency and it is still present. I also bought a S4U 16k and subsequently worked out a dithering method with UVTools to restore a significant por

Looking to replace my current printers. Need input from professionals
Elegoo Mars 3 Pro, Saturn 3 and Saturn 4 Ultra owner, been running them for the past 4 years +. (Starting slowly with the Mars and building up to the later ones. ) I use Chitubox Pro for slicing. Only had an issue once with a power switch pcb which Elegoo was happy to provide after verifying it was

Beginner looking to cost effectively improve
https://eu.elegoo.com/products/saturn-4-ultra-combo-with-mercury-xs This is a good deal. you really want the washing station and the curing station being two different machines. some have a machine where you can do both, but i can promise you, it will get messy and it will affect how well the machin

Good Printer for N scale
FDM printers are fine for buildings or larger things in N scale, but most anything with detail you're going to want a resin printer. Clean up time is not too crazy usually. Getting the right amount, but not too few supports for a model is a bit of an art. The more supports the more pock-marks you'll

Defecting from Anycubic, any recommendations?
Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16 K for the win! It has great specs, super beginner friendly and comes with a heater, self levels and the quick release vat you're looking for! My 2 cents? Always check your exposure settings. 2 Build plates and Vats sound like hell! I'm still a beginner, but so far I've had z

Prints failing to stick to the plate - Saturn 4 Ultra
Not sure why the thread is all bad advice, but the biggest fix for poor adhesion with the Saturn 4 Ultra 12k* is Rest After Retract (Chitubox) / Wait time before cure (UVTools) for the first 10-20 layers. This is because the automatic leveling and spring-loaded build plate fail to settle the build p

How to make details *sharper*?
I think the anti-aliasing is the big culprit for smudging details. The Saturn 4 ultra doesn't need anti-aliasing, especially with their 8k resin. The details will be crisp and sharp. AA will remove that sharpness. It is useful if you're printing transparent, to prevent cloudiness, because then those

Tough to remove from plate
With the spring-loaded build plate on the Mars 5 Ultra, similar to the Saturn 4 Ultra, it needs extra Rest After Retract (Chitubox) / Wait time before cure (UVTools) for the first 10-20 layers. Around 20-40s for those early layers in the print work well, but probably less for the smaller build plate

Made a statue for a friend!
I’ve got the saturn 4 ultra from Elegoo. This is my first one! I found it really beginner friendly. Ive started using siraya tech fast strong. That resin works wonders. If you ever need advice or whatever feel free to ask :)
