How to add a point to Nest Wifi pro
Ask Gemini. It’s Google AI that walked me through adding another Nest point. Better instructions than you get in the Home app. I’ve got seamless WiFi through my house and backyard now.

Please god is there a better broadband option out there? Does it have to be Starlink?
I'll try to explain it as simply as possible 👍 The box virgin gave you does both your internet connection (modem) and your wireless connection (router) They bog down when you start loading devices onto your network (the amount of things you have connected to the internet in your house), you would be

Best solution for wireless connection between two apartments ~15ft apart from each other?
Don't do a repeater or extender. You've already tried Google Wifi: if you like it alright as a system, maybe try adding a couple of the Nest Wifi (not Pro) router/points as the closet connections (they'll play nice with the pucks if you want to keep 1 or 2 around; Nest Wifi Pro will not). I use one

Can I cancel my current service and sign up for new one at the same adddress just to get newer free equipment (Nest Pro)?
The nest pros aren’t new at all and currently do not get used. You want to get the wifi6e equipment at least. The google WiFi and nest pros are only used for half-gig and under plans which are on their way out as far as I know

done fighting WiFi extenders in the yard. 4G for outdoor stuff instead?
My Google Nest wifi router covers a half acre lot well. It can mesh to multiple access points but I haven't needed that. Internet companies typically provide cheap, crappy routers. Turn their built-in router off and add a Nest wifi device, should do the trick. You might need to experiment in where t

Replacing my 2nd Gen Nest WiFi
Yes, always keep the same name and password for easier reconnect. Also, Google wifi pro is hot trash. I sent mine back 2x now due to constant lagging, things disconnecting, 1 million internet resets ajd factory resets. On paper it is solid, in the real world it is simply not a good a system. I just

AP Mesh speeds?
There are a few things happening here. If the wifi speeds cap at 400 Mbps, your Google wifi pro router probably only supports wifi 4 or maybe 5. Signal strength deteriorates as a function of distance, and anything blocking line of sight (walls, floors) will drastically hamper it as well. This is jus

Google WiFi - Access Point Weak?
I haven't ever needed to use a travel router as a WiFi Client, but I know they are typically configurable that way. I see TP Link has a few to choose from. Just make sure you get a well known brand and that it supports "Client" mode. They often support a bunch of modes, including range extender (you

Mesh WiFi Recommendations
I don't know why availability would be an issue. All the items are in stock. This is what you would need for a "complete" setup. https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/ux7 -- That's your main unit. They are just as plug-and-play as most consumer routers these days. https://store.ui.com/us/en/category/a

Best mesh WiFi system for a large house with dead zones and multiple floors?
Almost any mesh system is "beginner-friendly." Watch some YouTube reviews and see what feels good. If they're already in the Amazon smart device ecosystem then Eero might be the way to go? Or Google Wifi if they're Google Home folks. Think creatively about above/below placement. If an access point c
