I keep a JBL Charge speaker playing thunderstorm white noise off of YouTube next to my head. The bass is pretty good with that speaker, so it kills outside sounds nicely. Also construction earplugs in my ears.

Same. Speaker is the way to go. I use a JBL Charge 4 and it lasts almost 3 days before a charge. We've have several carriers walked off the street and sent back to training for wearing earbuds. Union president came a few weeks ago and gave a big stand up on earbuds.

Anything is an upgrade over tv speakers. New homeowner budget..... you will figure it out. Hell even my JBL charge 4 would bump that room real nice.

JBL Charge 3 is what I have. Is fairly cheap and loud enough for me. It can also be paired with other JBL speakers

I just use a jbl charge Decent volume with earplugs in. Battery life could be better but I have a charger I keep with it.

Our fishing boat stereo died and instead of replacing we bought a JBL charge 5. Works great and you can use it for other activities.

Me too, Apple TV for F1. But I would rather not proliferate streaming services ad nauseum. For the Royals this year I’m relying on the radio stream, my iPad, and a surprisingly good sounding Bluetooth speaker (JBL Charge 5).

You / I can't hear the difference, I tried with Apple Music Lossless High Res , no discernible difference with vs without cable at all.. The speaker is a ( MONO ) small boombox, not for classical music, were used listen a bit more refined, critical.. Useless for High Res Music . My old Bose Soundlin
