Six weeks of research and I’ve somehow talked myself out of every printer I was originally considering
I use several printers, mk3.5, core one, P1P, H2S, Sovol SV08MAX, (will soon add a Sovol ZERO) The cheapest solution, not repair but upgrade the mk3, you can convert the mk3 into a mk3.5: https://www.prusa3d.com/product/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-to-mk3-5s-upgrade-kit-5/ This calls 279€ no einsy MCU nee

Calling all Farmers
edit actually, I see now that those are Voron builds with green accents, not the ratrig vcore. So I guess feedback would mostly pertain to sovol performance I'm currently going back and forth between a RatRig Vcore and Sovol SV08 Max, in search of a 500mm build volume. Since you appear to run both,

Sovol Toolchanger — More details from last weeks livestream
I feel ya, unfortunately I think flying gantries just aren't the ideal type of printer for tool changers. Whether it's increased print time due to repeated Z travel for stationary tool mounts or for gantry tool mounts, you're dealing with lots of tubes and wires moving around I guess. I definitely s

Looking for the best printer for cosplay armor
If cosplay armor is your only goal then maximizing build volume might be convenient. The H2S is decently large but it’s not what I would call an XL printer. The sovol sv08 max is 500x500 for less than the H2S and the anycubic kobra max is a 400 x 400 machine that’s less than both of those. Smaller m

Looking For Advice: Best 3D Printers
When you say “large”, how large do you mean? If you’re looking for maximum volume, I think the Sovol SV08 Max is your best bet. But if you’re looking to handle more engineering grade filaments, I’d seriously look into the Qidi Max 4. The P2S and Centari are middle of the road with regard to print vo

Best printer for big prints?
Sv08 max is pretty near with the eddy sensor. The build size is 500x500x500 so it's pretty big. You can also add in a optional chamber heater, or go with the biqu panda breath....

The H2C Review: Better Than a Toolchanger?
Its perfect for me. Fast prototyping with breakaway supports and two materials, easy with Engineering Materials, Option to do a reasonable multicolorprint, decent size. If this thing works, I am maybe selling all of my printers to leave the emtional damage behind. Ender 3 v3 se. Money grave, only re

looking for a 3d printer to print ASA under 3k
Look into the Sovol SV08 Max (slightly larger than youneed) and Prusa XL (slightly smaller than you need). I feel like if you don’t need multicolor you’re looking at an SV08 Max. Big printers really skyrocket in price above those for commercial use at that size. Sovol SV08 Max should be able to use

Got a new Shoemaking Tool: Bambu Lab H2D 3D Printer
I'll throw my hat in the ring and say the SV08 by Sovol is also worth considering. It's an OSH printer forked from the Voron 2.4 350mm, meaning it has the same print volume as the H2D. I've had mine for about a year now and it's been pretty fantastic. The amount of features on it are hard to enumera
