This isn’t supposed to move like this is it?
Yeah, it's time to replace them. But for real the time to replace them is the same moment you buy the SV08, because they install wrong idlers there. Just look at the comparison between my stock idlers and the correct 2GT profile ones that I installed.

Coming from P1S, advice/pros and cons for the SV08 3D Printer
I'd say a SV08 greatly benefits from Mainline + Eddy + Triangle Labs or Microswiss Hotend. This with some good macros gets you 90% of the way. Then f.e. a case + chamber heating for some more challenging filaments like ABS/ASA or similar. Lastly INDX or Stealthchanger if you want multimaterial.

H2S is Coming!
I backed the U1 simply because snapmaker is a well established company. Did the same with the Sovol SV08 Max. I’m also really looking forward to fitting the Bondtech INDX on the SV08 Max. I can only imagine how many extrusion heads I’ll be able to fit in that thing. (Slaps roof)

Almost ready to give up on my SV08
Check this https://www.printables.com/model/968689-sv08-extruder-fix Have you calibrate everything? Do a cold pull to see if there is a clog. Use the accessories to unclog the nozzle (the very thin needle) and the long 1,5mm thick metal thing to push down the plastic going from the top of the extrud

Sovol sv08 experience
I havent had the same experience as you with my SV08. This thing has been rock solid for me. I do agree that this printer should come with mainline klipper right out of the box. It would make updates and upgrades easier. I believe the taco bed problem is a bit overblown. The bed mesh is there to com

The H2C Review: Better Than a Toolchanger?
Its perfect for me. Fast prototyping with breakaway supports and two materials, easy with Engineering Materials, Option to do a reasonable multicolorprint, decent size. If this thing works, I am maybe selling all of my printers to leave the emtional damage behind. Ender 3 v3 se. Money grave, only re

Introducing a new unofficial Voron 2.4 R2 branch
So why not switch for a modern toolhead? Dragon Burner / Dragon Cutter A4T / Kutter Xol-metrix V5 They're all better, lighter, mmu capable. For example, the complete V5 toolhead (originally designed for the Sovol 2.4, the SV08) is only 350g.

Printer dead after nozzle change because silicone
My guess is you damaged the thermister slightly and putting the silicon sock on pushes on the thermister and it shorts. Did the same thing myself. The SV08 stock hotend is the worst one I've ever dealt with and was the first thing I replaced.

Almost ready to give up on my SV08
For calibrations I mean e steps, flow rate, temperature, retraction, and similar. For me, the best way to calibrate a 3d printer and filament profile is using Ellis tuning guide: https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/ He uses some custom gcode or stl, but many test files can be replaced with the o

Prusa INDX-XL, seems to be a no brainer, right? 🤔
Prusa needed to sign a deal with Bondtech to be their exclusive INDX partner. A unified EU approach to defeat Bambu Lab. They have not as far as I can tell. All Bondtech talks about is adding INDX to the consumer SV08 and SV08 Max (and Vorons and other kit printers). There’s still time. I think Prus
