I have 2 Dell S2725QC for my M4 Mac mini and they’re great. Best budget monitor for the Mac in my opinion. It’s 27” 4K with 120hz refresh rate and USB-C connectivity with decent built in speakers too! Apple's Studio Display is “the best” for Mac if you want to spend that much.

You don’t know what you want yet and that’s ok. Your use case might evolve with time so stop trying to nail the perfect monitor from the get go.
