No point for M43 to compete in areas where it's 100% losing out. Better to focus on it's strengths like portability and good enough image quality. At least for M43, Panasonic’s newer cameras are either kinda middling (G100) or well-specced but bulky (GH7, G9ii). Seems like the preference is for smaller/lighter bodies with good features/IBIS, and Oly/OM just covers that better. That said, go check the used prices for the GX and GM lines, people
