Looking for Headphones to drum along with
Take a look at the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO phones. Good isolation, audio quality and price.

What in ear monitors do you use to drown out the thud sound on your eKit?

Sennheiser HD 25 replacement ?
From my own experience/collection: Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro would be my top choice for your purpose. One of the most comfortable closed headphones out there for extended use. I can wear these for hours and hours. Sennheiser HD-380 Pro are also very comfortable, and isolate better than the Beyers. Sen

Ex LG owners: What dongle are you using now?
I still use my LG V60 as my daily driver and I also have a great refurb V60, G8X, and V30 that I use my Earfun UA 100 portable DAC/AMP with. It is nearly identical to the Shanling UA2 Plus. They both use the ES9038Q2M SABRE DAC chip and dual RT6863 amplifier chips, supporting up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM

What are the best earphones you recommend?
sennheiser hd280 has done me well enough for two decades, presently seventy-five quid. the fact they've been around that long tells you something.

Albums where you lock in with zero sensory distractions?
Toxicity, no skips I also happen to have HD 280 Pro headphones from Sennheiser that have fantastic noise isolation, so that helps on top.

My Vic Firth’s broke. Recs for iso headphones?
Sennheiser HD 280s I found them to have just as much isolation as the Vic Firths but more comfortable and better sounding. The only thing I dislike is the curly cable.

Amplifier
I know you’re asking about amps and not headphones but I enjoy my edrums immensely more using these closed back headphones which sound great and block out the thud of hitting plastic https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HD280Pro--sennheiser-hd-280-pro-closed-back-studio-and-live-monitoring-headph

Headphones for making and mixing
I use Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, which are on the cheaper end of things but I've been happy with them personally. I've used them for long enough now that I've learned how they sound, which is probably half the battle. I'm interested in going wireless because I'm sick of cables getting in the way when I'

Casio AP-S190 vs Roland FRP-NUVOLA EX (Costco Canada) - returning pianist after 10+ years, need advice
I’ve had the Nuvola for six months. I love the feel of the keys. I did find the speaker output lacking a bit but the quality of the piano sound is great. The headphones that come with the kit also aren’t as loud. Switched to a different pair at it made a significant difference (Sennheiser HD280). Th
