Sennheiser HD 25 replacement ?
From my own experience/collection: Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro would be my top choice for your purpose. One of the most comfortable closed headphones out there for extended use. I can wear these for hours and hours. Sennheiser HD-380 Pro are also very comfortable, and isolate better than the Beyers. Sen

My Vic Firth’s broke. Recs for iso headphones?
Sennheiser HD 280s I found them to have just as much isolation as the Vic Firths but more comfortable and better sounding. The only thing I dislike is the curly cable.

Headphone recommendation for Soundcraft UI24R Rackmixer
If you’re narrowing it to AKG K371, Shure SRH840A, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, and Beyer DT770 Pro, you basically picked the actually useful on a loud stage shortlist. K371 is the most neutralish of the bunch and it seals well enough for stage, plus you get long detachable cables in the box, so you’re no

Finding a set of noise cancelling headphones
Active noise canceling works by generating a sound opposite of what the microphone hears to cancel it out. Because of this process, there are little zones of high and low pressure inside the ear cup due to the sound waves colliding, creating the sense of pressure that you're feeling. Unfortunately,

Buying headphone question
See if the specs include a frequency response curve. Then, look for independent reviews, preferably ones that also include independently generated FR curves. That's only part of the picture, though, although a very important part. Also of significant importance is comfort . Great specs are useless i

Best Editing Wired Headset (Suggestions)
I've have a few pairs of the Sennhwiser HD 280 pro over the last 10 years and they kick butt. For a mid-range price point ($100) these are hard to beat. Great sound, comfortable to wear, great sound range (low to high) You will still want some studio monitor speakers to test on as well. I usually mi

Home sound set up advice
Recording/tracking is normally done with headphones, not speaker monitors. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HD280Pro--sennheiser-hd-280-pro-closed-back-studio-and-live-monitoring-headphones I think these are the ones that were previously labeled as the HD-99's. Closed back, so good bass respo

Quality affordable headphones
I've been using my Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO headphones for years. I like the accurate sound reproduction, rugged built, and they're comfortable to wear.

What gear do you use to make your YouTube videos?
Too much, honestly, and I don't even do cameras anymore (too much extra setup work, it was stopping me from getting stuff done). But I'm a complete audio snob so that's where I spend my money and my time. I have: Shure SM7b for live work when needed. Honestly my least used mic at this point but it's
