Personally, I still use the Sennheiser HD 410's I bought in 1983. However, my 410's use foam ear pads, so there can be some bleed over when using them in the studio. I suggest never use sound canceling headphones when recording or editing audio. Get yourself some good old fashioned non-sound canceling cans and use your ears to your advantage. My current favorites are Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. I also never use blue tooth headphones for recording/edit.
