Lumix mig be launching a 61MP camera(s1r2e?)
The bigger sensor means lower readout speed so - a bunch of the video features perhaps not being there? What would make sense is the s9r. There's already the sigma fp-l as a proof of concept. And with ibis would be my perfect camera.

“NO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY“
Not lots of occasions for me to be smug about my Sigma FP, but that might be one of them lol

Lumix S9 or Sigma FP for everyday carry
I recommend YouTube. I spent a lot of time interested in Sigmas, FP, FPl, the new one. It seems to me almost entirely everyone I watch that even start out loving it moves on and has a lot of complaints.

I want to buy the C70, but I already have a camera - talk me out of it?
The Sigma FP is a great camera, I'd stick with it for a while longer if you can.

Someone was not happy...
I think the S9 is best recommended as a b cam or a c cam. I feel similarly about the Sigma fp, for the right price.

BMPCC OG or SIGMA FP - which for beginner?
Hey Jacapuab, I have gone down this long and winding road for close to 10 years now. From film, to digital,, I have used and owned many cameras, and here is my two cents. Hope it helps you on your journey. Easiest place to start is to write out a list of things you want it to do. Is 1080 okay? 4k a

Considering Switching From Canon to LUMIX
The equivalence is not straight forward, if price doesn’t matter canon can give you better performance You will definitely need to accept different menu philosophy and af underperformance but im assuming you went over it The S1Rii might exactly hit the spot and then you may get all you need, but equ

og bmpcc, sony pmw-f3, or sigma fp?
I feel so lucky to own all three of them. Each has its own beauty and quirks, and I'm still trying to figure out the best situations and strengths to use each. Generally, small assignments on the sigma fp cdng 1080, for major projects on 4k and rigged out. Bmpcc og for travelling, everyday observati

Ouch there definitely is some people who dont like m43😅
Haha thats true. If i were to start from scratch id also probably get an apsc as a starter and a lens for 400-500 bucks - probably the samsung nx500 (really undervalued 28mp apsc with some of the best sooc colors, only surpassed by fujifilm ones but they are much more expensive). But if i had around
