ITAP of a Swarm of Bees
I took a picture of a Swarm of bees laying down on the ground prone in front of a very active beehive, this took me thousands of attempts to get the proper focus and subjects in frame the way I wanted. This is in my opinion is my best photograph of the year throughout my macro journey, and I hope yo

32 Years later, I visited the Sydney Tower to recreate this photo of my Dad.
Some additional backstory: My dads picture was taken in 1992, when he was 26 Years old. I recreated it just yesterday / 2nd Sep 2024, and I'm currently 25 Years old. Unfortunately he passed away in 2007 when I was only 8 years old. I've been in Sydney for about 10 months now, and the very recent fat

Ang mahal ng photos. Pwede babaan price
As a wedding photographer, I always look at their gear when I pass by them during races. Karamihan naka A7iv and 50gm 1.2 for closer shots then naka 70-200 for zoomed in photos. Tapos may battery powered Nanlite or Amaran lights pa. Their whole setup costs 300k easily. I’d say 200 per photo is fair

Bought my first Nikon after being 8 years on Sony [impressions below]
This ironically was one of the things that annoyed me most switching the other way, from Nikon to Sony. It always feels borderline dangerous mounting lenses on my A7iv

ITAP of Salida, CO
Sleepy mountain towns under a sea of stars. Places like this are what really make me love where I live. This is another take on the beloved Cygnus region and all of its hydrogen alpha beauty. I’m still in awe every time I look at the back of my camera after hours of shooting this region of the sky.

New Canon Cinema Camera (thoughts)
What do you mean? As an FX3 user for 4 years, the only things I don't like about the C50 is the lack of IBIS and the RF lens ecosystem. Otherwise, it basically kills the fx3 in every way. 7k internal open gate in raw, top handle with XLR's, smaller body than C70, etc. Would love to know what makes y

First and Maybe Last Visit to India?
I shot these on a full frame mirrorless camera. I use a Sony a7iv with a 70-200mm gm ii lens. I should have brought a 16-35mm too but such is life. The 4th image is the only one from my iPhone. You may be able to get similar shots with other non-Apple mobile products. I am no pro photographer but my

Pretending to be a Nat Geo photographer, most fun I've had with my camera
Sony A7iv + 200-600mm Was lucky enough recently to spend three days self-driving in the Kruger National Park, and after that a 4-day wilderness trail/walking safari. Was honestly the most fun I've ever had behind the lens. Had some 10000 photos on my drive by the end of the week. imo so much of safa

Butterflies!
Some pics I took today of two butterflies in a local rain garden. I use the Sony Alpha 7 IV and the lens I was using here is the Sony 200-600mm f5.6-6.3 G OSS lens.
Most of the pictures turned out exactly as I wanted, but I was quite sad that even at an f stop of 32 I was unable to get both butte

The comet Lemmon [OC]
One last shot of the comet Lemmon for me, since when it disappears it won't be visible for more than one thousand years. I had mixed feelings about getting it again or not since we all have seen so many photos of it already but the tail caught my attention, if at 135mm wasn't enough to get it entire
