ITAP of Salida, CO
Sleepy mountain towns under a sea of stars. Places like this are what really make me love where I live. This is another take on the beloved Cygnus region and all of its hydrogen alpha beauty. I’m still in awe every time I look at the back of my camera after hours of shooting this region of the sky.

The comet Lemmon [OC]
One last shot of the comet Lemmon for me, since when it disappears it won't be visible for more than one thousand years. I had mixed feelings about getting it again or not since we all have seen so many photos of it already but the tail caught my attention, if at 135mm wasn't enough to get it entire

ITAP of a Railroad Truss
We’re getting close to the winter Milky Way season! To celebrate, I’ve decided to take the plunge into h-alpha narrowband imaging to add to my photos. There are so many beautiful emissions in the winter band of the Milky Way that only become even more stunning when you add this data to them. Cygnus

The Milky Way arch at Passo Giau, Dolomites
The Milky Way arch at Passo Giau was one of the most challenging arches I’ve ever captured due to the intense light pollution and high humidity. After a spectacular sunset, we were enveloped in mist during the blue hour, but we were fortunate to have a clear night. I had the lens heater on at maximu

Milky Way
Hey everyone! I just tried astrophotography for the first time, right from my balcony. Used my Sony Alpha 7 IV with a 24-70GM lens. Settings were 24mm, ISO 5000, 30s shutter.
The original photo was super pale—almost light grey—but after some Lightroom tweaking, I got this. Still learning, so I’d lo

A7V vs. FX3 for someone who already owns an A7IV
Sell the A7iv, buy the A7V. Better lowlight (second base iso is 8000 for video), better rolling shutter, better ibis.

Should I replace my Sony A7IV for a Lumix S5IIX?
Yes, A7IV has nowhere near the features S5IIx, talking video, A7IV can give you a little bit more definition in photos but lacks everything else. The only thing Sony is better at is AF. Other than that, S5IIx is better (even low-light, S5IIx has better shadow retention and more "organic" noise). I h

Anyone using a a7V for a B camera?
If you mean for video, I'm using an A7RV (note "R", so not the A7V) for B-Cam because sometime in early summer last year DJs decided everything needs multicam. I bought the A7RV as my main photo camera to replace my Nikon D750 - after buying an FX3 for video it seemed daft to run two lens systems, a
