Is the upgrade from fx30 to fx3 worth it?
How important low-light shooting is for your work? I used the FX30 for about 3 years and recently switched to the FX2. If you’re considering upgrading, one benefit I didn’t expect was the added flexibility. I mostly shoot travel/documentary-style work, so I didn’t really need full frame or the cooli

Convince me to switch
For wedding photography I think you'd be better off keeping the FX30 as your A camera, especially if you rely on autofocus. The main advantage with the BMPCC 4K is the better flexibility for grading: I have an FX30 as well and while the footage is much more flexible than I feared (in terms of adjust

Is the upgrade from fx30 to fx3 worth it?
I have an FX3, FX30, A7V and A7IV and I’d say go for the A7V. A7V has better AF better, better Ibis, is cheaper, sharper image, allows you to import viewing luts, better screen, allows smart AF while in clear image zoom. 8000 base ISO is a lot more practical then 12,800 and having to ND or stop down

FX30 or ZV-E1
I’m trying to decide between these cameras too, maybe the FX3 too if I find the right deal or can’t pull the trigger before an FX3 II drops and kills the used price of the FX3. Because that’s another thing you have to think about when buying an FX3 in 2026: it might soon be replaced, maybe – or mayb

What camera should I get in 2025?
zv e10 - gyroscopic data, pwede magstabilize with catalyst browse unlike a6400 - fully articulating screen, good for selfies/selfie vlogging and monitoring video at odd angles. a6400 only has tilt screen - no pop-up flash pero pwede mo naman kabitan sa hot shoe - wala lang evf saka weather sealing t

Obsessed with BlackMagic but I’m a beginner
I have an FX3. A camera that’s a little out of date but still great. The fx30 is a cheaper alternative that’s also great. The screen flips out, you have autofocus, optical steady shot helps with handheld filming, you can shoot in SLOG for color control, or bake in Sonys already decent color science.

Fuji X-H2S or Sony FX30
Have both. FX 30 for my daughter going to film school next year. The XH2s is a hybrid camera with good features for both stills and video. It is the top of the line for your use. I got if for the great rolling shutter. No cooling fan built in but the addon one works fine. The 30 has a built in fan a

When does it make sense to get a Full Frame camera? Question coming from a person who recently jumped from my iphone 14 pro to an FX30.
It all depends on your use case- each camera is unique and has its own idiosyncrasies- fx30 is apsc only with no mechanical shutter and slightly older autofocus- however it can shoot 4k 120 fps, which fx2 can’t do. The fx2 is full frame and also has dynamic active stabilization and a great evf, howe

Best video camera worth buying the MOST currently in your opinion?
Been running the Sony FX30 for a few months now and it’s basically the “I want cinema features but I’m not paying FX3 money” camera. I came from hybrid/mirrorless stuff and the difference is immediate: this feels like an actual Cinema Line tool, not a photo camera that happens to shoot video. 6K ove
