Cinema Line FX30

An S1ii costs less than an FX3 and outperforms it. If I didn't have Sony glass I'd take that over an FX3 or FX30 any day (I'm still shooting Sony with over 1k paid gigs done on an a7siii/FX3 so not a Panasonic shill, just being objective)

First off, I'd wait a couple months. There's a Sony event in June. This could be the year it gets an upgrade. Second. I do think for doc-style it's worth the upgrade. Sony not creating an FX-3II is a big mistake. Nikons ZR will have the ZR pro version, will blow FX-30 away. LUMIX has some super video cams,then kineinfinity now, really interesting. Canon just came out with something… Sony is great, I’m a Sony shooter. Though for video maybe something else.

The "I" Codec give you completely uncompressed footage so, inherently, it has the most detail and sharpness, period. That said, it also produces absolutely massive files. We're talking about like 13 mins of footage for something close to 7 or 10gb. Works super well in editors, since it's uncompresse
